What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant position at Westhill Dental?
Westhill Dental is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our growing team! Our private practice is unique in that we offer most dental services under one roof instead of referring patients to other offices. We utilize state of the art technologies and deliver advanced services such as IV moderate sedation, General Anesthesia sedation, same day "All on X Implant retained dentures", 3D printed denture prosthetics, and sleep apnea appliances. We also offer orthodontics, endodontics, and many oral surgery procedures. We are excited to move into our brand new building this Spring!

1. Our office does every procedure in-house so the opportunity to learn and grow your skill set is exponential!
2. We have experienced, loyal assistants excited to train those that are eager to learn new areas of dentistry.
3. We have all the latest technologies and will always invest in new ones. We’re talking CBCT, lasers, 3D printers (we print and fabricate aligners, dentures, mouthguards and more on site!), CEREC and more.
4. The team has a great time--lots of jokes and laughs!
In addition to assisting with general dentistry procedures, our assistants are responsible for:
- Chairside blood draws for PRF related surgical procedures
- Single and full arch All On X implant surgical assisting
- Bone and soft tissue grafting
- Sleep apnea case review and lab correspondence
- CEREC same day crown design and fabrication
- 3D digital design of Night Guards, models, surgical implant guides, and Invisalign trays
- 3D printing of models, Night Guards, Surgical Implant Guides
- Band and bracket orthodontics
- Clear aligner (invisalign) tray fabrication using 3D printed models
- Use of CBCT, multiple intraoral 3D scanners, and extraoral digital SLR photography
- Rarely take physical goopy impressions and/or make temporary crowns!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 34 per week
