JOB TITLE: Room Service Server
REPORTS TO: F&B Manager/ Restaurant Supervisor
BASIC PURPOSE: Responsible for set-up, delivery and retrieval all food and beverage orders to guest rooms while ensuring quality service, guest satisfaction and adherence to brand standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Set-up and deliver all food and beverage orders in accordance with established guidelines, procedures and policies as prescribed by both property and brand standards.
- Conduct floor sweeps and retrieve all food and beverage trays in order to maintain established sanitation guidelines.
- Set-up and deliver all VIP amenities.
- Service all hospitality suites in accordance with BEO and established policy and procedures.
- Complete all shift side work as outlined in the department's operating policies and procedures.
- Respond to customer needs, issues, comments and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales. Report all communications to immediate shift supervisor.
- Perform all cash handling responsibilities in accordance with property accounting policies and procedures.
- Maintain inventory of needed supplies.
- Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Education: Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Experience: One year of employment in a related field with this company or other organization(s) preferred but not necessary. Experience with restaurant POS system preferred.
Skills /Abilities: English communication skills. Advanced hospitality skills.
