Floor Supervisor

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management and customer service, with the ability to lead a team effectively while ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. As a Floor Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on the sales floor, managing staff, and driving sales performance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the sales floor team to ensure high levels of customer service and operational efficiency.
• Train, mentor, and develop staff members in areas such as product knowledge, customer service techniques, and sales strategies.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new team members to build a strong workforce.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management to ensure product availability for customers.
• Utilize POS systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining cash handling procedures.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing store environment that aligns with company standards.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance overall satisfaction.
• Implement promotional strategies to drive sales and achieve store goals.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership skills with experience in retail management or supervisory roles.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Familiarity with recruiting processes and techniques for building a successful team.
• Proficient in administrative tasks related to store operations, including scheduling and reporting.
• Knowledge of retail math concepts to analyze sales data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication with customers and vendors.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while fostering a positive workplace culture.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on achieving results through effective management practices.
