Westlake ACE Hardware is one of the largest retailers of home hardware in the U.S., and we have immediate openings for both a Seasonal and Part-Time Cashier and Sales Associate with open availability. Will train motivated applicants!
Westlake Hardware operates over 120 stores in eleven states, and is the largest member of the Ace Hardware Corporation buying cooperative. Westlake stands out as the best neighborhood hardware store! Westlake Hardware, one of the largest retailers of home hardware in the U.S., has immediate opening for Seasonal associates at our store located at 1 Main Street, Delhi, NY 13753.
Westlake Ace Hardware is now hiring seasonal cashiers and sales associates. Must be able to work flexible hours, evenings and weekends required , and deliver great customer service.
The primary responsibility of all Westlake ACE associates is first and foremost to provide AMAZING customer service and drive SALES! This means our customers always come first, and we make serving them our top priority. Westlake is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Requirements
Customer Service
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Be professional in appearance and actions.
- Provide a positive, professional and safe work environment.
- Proactively assist customers.
- Assist with customer carry-outs.
- Assist with freight and merchandising.
- Assist with daily maintenance, organization and cleanliness of sales floor and outdoor merchandise area.
- Ensure all pages and calls are answered promptly, courteously and effectively.
- Cashiers
- Previous cashier experience preferred, but we will train

Cashiers and Sales Associates have the responsibility to:
Customer Service, Register Operations, Front End Appearance and Upkeep, Sales Floor Appearance and Upkeep
Experience: Cashier and customer service experience preferred for Cashier and Sales Associate Openings.
Physical Demands Involved: Standing, walking, lifting and climbing
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour
