SUMMARY
Combine ingredients to obtain correct mixture of compound for producing extruded moulding.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
May include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Responsible for re-blends.
- Responsible for operation of blender in combining compound to use in extruder.
- Maintain records of how much compound is used and where it goes.
- Responsible for temperature gauges, amp gauges, upkeep, maintenance and tooling of machine.
- Must be able to run pelletizer machine.
- Maintain level of quality consistent with established standards.
- Comply with established safety rules.
- Comply with company policy and procedures.
- Maintain constructive working relationships with co-workers, lead and supervisors/managers.
- Maintain regular attendance in accordance with company policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned to the satisfaction of supervisor and/or lead.

- Education/Knowledge
Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Communication
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
