Coordinator I-Production

Position Overview:

The responsibilities include dispatching plant shipments, scheduling the load times, preparing the pre-load paperwork, ensuring that all customer shipments are scheduled with a Carrier and completing the post loading paperwork. In addition, this person is responsible for scheduling, coordination, and shipping of overseas containers from the Lakeland warehouse. Coordinate the scheduling and execution of multiple modes of shipments at the Lakeland plant. Work with Production Scheduler, Warehouse Supervisor, Customer Service Representatives and Operations Superintendent to ensure orders are shipped In Full and On Time. Must communicate effectively with all related parties and must proactively manage or escalate all exceptions or problems that arise to Operations Superintendent. Ensures compliance with all Corporate and DOT policies and procedures. Helps identify areas of improvement and potential cost saving projects. Helps investigate and provide corrective actions for all logistics-related incidents.

Job Responsibilities:

• Schedule trailers for bulk customer shipments from the Lakeland Plant.
• Coordinates export shipments from the Lakeland plant.
• Perform Production Confirmations and update corresponding spreadsheets.
• Oversee the site's Document Control process.
• Maintains Main Office Building Supplies.
• Maintains DOT and IMDG certification to ship Hazardous Materials.
  Creates shipping documents (Delivery Note, Verification Checklist and Bill of Lading) through SAP.
• Ensures shipments meet DOT and IMDG shipping requirements (Shipping Papers accurate and complete, Placarding, Labeling, Package Closure, etc.).
• Maintains ISO Auditor certification Perform miscellaneous duties that include but are not limited to the following: on-board new hires, drug and alcohol screening coordination, processing safety glasses and safety shoe forms.
• Invoice processing (Carriers, Janitorial, Grounds Maintenance, Gas Supplier).
• Scan Batch Records.
• Assist with other tasks and projects as they arise, including general administrative duties and coordination of on-site meals for meetings.
• Assist Operations Superintendent with Month End Closing, Internal Controls and Bulk Tank inventories.
• Manage routine vendors for Main Office Building (Janitorial, Grounds Maintenance, Office Supplies, Copiers).
• Back-up to the Warehouse Supervisor, Raw Material Coordinator and/or other roles as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Two years of experience in supply chain operations and logistics coordination.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook).
• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
