Job Description
The WPM Sales Director is a new position within Westlake & WPM that will be responsible for business development of the 3rd party servicing and backup servicing products across multiple consumer finance industries. This will be a hybrid position, with heavy travel to the Los Angeles office in the first 6 months. After that period, the candidate will be required to travel to the home office at least monthly. The first 6 months will focus on gaining an in-depth knowledge of Westlake, WPM products, competitive advantage and our overall value proposition.
The WPM Sales Director will be responsible for understanding our servicing & commercial lending platform that we offer our partners. Having a firm understanding on both is necessary to be successful in this role. Furthermore, this position will work very closely with the VP of Westlake Portfolio Management & Westlake Capital Finance to build and develop a sales and marketing strategy for WPM’s suite of products. One of the primary responsibilities of this position will be to conduct market research on the different consumer finance verticals and make recommendations on where Westlake and WPM can gain market share. This research can be conducted by attending conferences, SWOT
analysis, speaking with industry leaders, online review of competition, and creating a maret entry strategy.
After the first 6 months of employment, this role will require a self-starter mentality as the position will take a more independent day-to-day routine. The average sales cycle for this product can be on average 6 – 12 months. Understanding this is fundamental for long-term success in this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop a firm understanding of Westlake Servicing, Operations, and commercial
- lending products.
- Conduct market research on the viability of entering different industries.
- Provide financial analysis on profitability of our products to potential borrowers
- Regularly attend multiple consumer finance industry conferences.
- Work with Westlake Marketing to create brand messaging for WPM.
- Create sales and market strategy for (Non-Auto)WPM servicing.
- Analyze marketing campaigns on their sales & cost effectiveness.
- Work with executive team to develop value proposition.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 5 years sales management experience leading a team
- 5 years of sales, marketing, auto finance and commercial lending experience
- High energy and with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and various sales software applications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a closely related field
- Strong computer skills, telephone management, and adaptability to new technology
- Goal oriented with a desire for improvement and advancement
- Able to communicate and work amicably with diverse teams
What is our pay plan?
- Self-determined, performance-based compensation package
Compensation:
- Base: $100,000 - $120,000
- Bonus: $100,000
Guarantee:
- 9-Month = $39,000
- Month 1-6: $5,000
- Month 7-9: $3,000
The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable.
