As a Financial Analyst in the Accounting Operations division, you will have the opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, dynamic, and data-driven team that directly supports accounting management, company executives and influences management direction. You will utilize system loan data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in cost savings.
Ideal candidates have 1-3 years experience in payables and receivables payment analytics and a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, economics or a similar field. Exceptional candidates are driven by excellence, attention to detail, and a desire to continually improve, gain industry experience, and enhance productivity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze consumer loan balances to bring insights into collections, account aging, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and loan servicing company policies.
- Analyze consumer loan payments to highlight trends with respect to methods of payments by various sources and various remitters.
- Design and enhance reports to monitor KPI's especially specific to daily payables and receivables payments on consumer loans.
- Build and enhance on various reports to audit the accuracy and timeliness of daily payables and to ensure payables are in line with services rendered and qualifications.
- Collaborate with adjacent departments to streamline processes related to consumer loan payables and incoming loan payments and recommend improvements to accounts payable and accounts receivable policies and procedures.
- Recommend changes to corporate policies, procedures, and payables guidelines.
- Enhance internal process efficiency with all technologies available to your team.
