Hello! At Westlake Painting, we're a small but rapidly growing company based in Pittsboro, NC. We're passionate about delivering top-quality painting services and are looking for a skilled and upbeat Painting Estimator to join our team on a part-time, contract basis.

What You'll Do:

• Engage with customers during the estimation process, asking exploratory questions to fully understand their needs and preferences.​
• Utilize tools like PaintScout, DripJobs, and Paint Force to create detailed estimates and proposals tailored to each project.​
• Collaborate closely with project managers to ensure estimates align with budgets and project timelines.​
• Visit job sites to assess conditions and gather information that may influence project costs.​
• Understand pricing with subcontractors and suppliers to bid favorable terms.​
• Prepare clear and comprehensive reports detailing labor, materials, and other costs.​

What We're Looking For:

• Experience as a painting estimator or in a similar role.​
• Familiarity with construction management principles.​
• Proficiency in estimation software like PaintScout, DripJobs, and Paint Force is a plus.​
• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.​
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively understand and address customer needs.​
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.​
• A warm, professional demeanor that reflects our commitment to outstanding and genuine customer service.​

Compensation:

This position offers a competitive commission structure ranging from 5% to 10%, depending on experience. Commissions are calculated based on the gross profit of each project you estimate. For example, if you estimate a project with a gross profit of $5,000 and your commission rate is 5%, you'd earn $500 for that project.​
