The Position: A Land Surveyor is a member of a field survey team contributing to daily assigned tasks as directed by the senior team lead. Tasks include supporting the team in performing boundary, aerial control, topographic data collection, mapping, construction staking and utility as-builts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Able to take direction from the team lead and is learning to use diverse land survey equipment such as G.P.S., conventional total station, auto/digital levels, data-collectors, office computers (CAD) and field computers,
- As directed by a team lead able to download and upload electronic files and photos, as well as scan the field notes and other paperwork for daily assignments,
- Develop good communication skills with the survey team, colleagues, and superiors,
- Maintain inventory of supplies and prepares field truck,
- Ensure truck has appropriate equipment for the job, set up equipment at work sites, and maintains equipment and cleans truck.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience with land survey equipment and practices,
- Must be physically able to carry heavy loads (approximately 30 pounds),
- Must have a valid California Class “C” driver’s license with a clean driving record,
- Excellent technical and communication skills,
- Ability to commit to occasional unforeseen and demanding schedules.,
