Position Description: The Public Works Project Manager will oversee a wide variety of Public Works projects from local, County, State, and Federal municipalities. The manager will be responsible for managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, including preparing proposals, plans, reports, schedules, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the management, planning, scheduling, and budgeting of multiple Public Works related engineering projects and personnel.
- Provide technical oversight and design review for project team members, ensuring that project schedules and budgets are met,
- Manage project objectives by collaborating with clients and personnel, developing project proposals,
- Attend periodic site meetings with clients, public agencies, and other consultants.
- Control project by directing and approving changes in design, specification, budget and schedule consistent with project objectives,
- Provides mentorship and training to fellow personnel, including assignment of responsibilities and tasks,
- Approve quality of work by analyzing design, client requirements, and performance standards and provide needed feedback regarding accuracy, completeness and value
- Responsible for monitoring the project budget, funding, schedule, design, planning activities, and change orders.
- Resolve project-related technical problems and personnel issues in a timely manner.
- Pursue new clients and projects while cultivating and growing relationships with current clients.
- Ensure that staff performance reviews, time sheets, invoices, and deliverables are completed on time and up to WestLAND Group standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field,
- 5 plus years in Project Management of Public Works project experience showing progressively increasing responsibility
- Licensed as an Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred.
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in California highly desired
- Advanced Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D,
- Excellent technical, verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated the ability to interact with current and potential clients via email, phone, and in-person
- Ability to prepare proposals and maintain budget, schedules, and scope of projects.
- Ability to multitask and work on several projects concurrently.
- Experience managing Capital Improvement Projects for Public Agencies

Salary : $120,000 - $130,000
