WestLand is adding an Environmental Compliance Inspector to our Tucson team! This position will be supporting a linear construction project, local to the Tucson area, and with an anticipated duration of up to two years. This field-based role will work with our clients to ensure that they are remaining compliant with federal, state and local environmental regulations and adhering to the conditions set out in their construction permits as it relates to their day-to-day construction activities. Our environmental consulting practice specializes in environmental planning & permitting, natural resource planning & management, and facility compliance services! WestLand's environmental experts are well versed in city, state, and federal procedures and policies.
What will I be doing?
- Conducting construction field monitoring and inspections.
- Interacting with construction personnel at the construction site.
- Reviewing and ensuring that construction activities are complaint with regulations and permits.
- Preparing documentation and providing data to WestLand project managers for project reporting.
- Managing and training junior field crewmembers.
- Managing some project-related tasks.
What qualifications are required for this role?
The wage range for this position is $25.00 - $28.50 / hour.
