Westland Insurance Group Ltd is growing and has a new opportunity for a Client Manager, Auto based out of our Surrey Head Office. There is also a possibility to accommodate the right candidate based out of one of our other BC offices, but preference will be given to candidates able to work out of Surrey.

The expected hiring range for this role is $44,800 to $56,000 plus commission based on a 40 hour work week. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity.

As a Client Manager, Auto, you will be an integral part of a team. You will represent Westland Insurance, servicing a book of auto client business. This role will bring together strong ICBC technical skills to support the Specialty Auto department and our clients.

Insurance Broker level 2 license strongly preferred; however we are willing to consider candidates with a level 1 license provided they are able to obtain their level 2 license within one year of employment
2 years of experience with ICBC Autoplan
Once here, you'll:
Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive contact via phone and email
Uncover clients’ business challenges and act as a client advocate identifying their needs and providing recommendations
Monitor and maintain all clients on your renewal lists, contacting each 30 days prior to expiry with the aim of renewing as many as possible
Review all policy needs and schedule renewal appointments
Support other team members as required, and take part in training opportunities to keep up to date with industry and marketplace changes and standards
