As a FP&A Analyst, you will play an instrumental role in supporting Westland’s organic and inorganic growth strategy by analyzing financial activities and providing strategic insights. You will work closely with your team to ensure reporting deadlines are met and financial service standards are upheld. With strong emotional intelligence, you excel at fostering a culture of trust and collaboration across internal stakeholders and the broader Finance team.
Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $72,000-83,000 with a 35-hour work week. Your rate of pay will be determined based on your individual qualifications and experience, while considering internal equity.

Why we’ll love you:
You have earned your Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Business, with a focus on finance or accounting
You bring 3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Accounting, or equivalent
You have or are working towards your CPA designation
Your advanced Excel skills and data analysis expertise allow you to uncover valuable insights.
You're proficient in Power Query and Power BI
Your analytical and critical thinking abilities are exceptional, enabling you to solve complex problems and think outside the box.
You excel in interpersonal communication, both verbal and written, making it easy for you to collaborate and share ideas.
You are detail-oriented and excel at prioritizing tasks, adapting quickly to changing needs, responsibilities, and environments.
You work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Once here, you'll:
Analyze financial statements, revenue trends, and expenses to assess overall performance
Conduct detailed reviews of revenue and expense accounts to ensure accuracy
Collaborate with AR, AP, and acquisition reporting teams to validate financial transactions
Support financial modeling for five-year strategic plan and scenario analysis to guide business decisions
Assist in budget development and variance analysis, providing key financial insights
Track financial results of acquired entities, comparing actuals to pre-acquisition estimates
Work closely with Accounting, Operations, and other departments to gather financial data and provide meaningful insights
Prepare and analyze monthly functional reports for department leaders
Assist in the preparation of Board presentations and monthly management reports
Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and modeling for various strategic initiatives
