Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and organized Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics and shipping, with an ability to handle administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of products and supplies, while also assisting with general office administration and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Logistics & Shipping:
- Coordinate the transportation of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to healthcare facilities, offices, and patients.
- Manage inventory levels, track shipments, and ensure products are stocked and available when needed.
- Handle all aspects of order fulfillment, including order entry, processing, and shipping of medical supplies and equipment.
- Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and courier services to ensure efficient and cost-effective shipping solutions.
- Resolve any issues related to shipments, including delayed or damaged goods, and communicate with stakeholders to find quick solutions.
Office Administration:
- Assist with daily office tasks, including filing, data entry, and document management.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries from clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Maintain accurate records for shipping, inventory, and other logistics-related activities.
- Provide support to other departments as needed (e.g., customer service, procurement, or sales).
Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure that all shipping processes comply with relevant healthcare regulations, including the safe transport of medical supplies.
- Maintain documentation for shipments and inventory that adheres to company policies and industry standards.
- Help with organizing and preparing materials for audits and inspections.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
