Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay is looking for a friendly and reliable CDL Driver to join our team! As a CDL Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents and employees get to their destinations safely and efficiently while delivering excellent customer service.
In this role, you will transport residents and employees to various locations, assist with mobility needs, and maintain our vehicles in top condition. You’ll work closely with the Transportation Coordinator to ensure all transportation needs are met. This position offers flexible hours, including days, evenings, and weekends.
What We’re Looking For:
- A valid Virginia Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B) with a "P" endorsement.
- A clean driving record and a commitment to safety.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR and First Aid certifications (can be obtained upon hire).
- Strong customer service skills, empathy, and a professional appearance.
- Ability to assist with mobility devices and lift up to 25 pounds.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide safe and courteous transportation for residents and employees.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including cleaning, fueling, and safety checks.
- Assist passengers on and off the vehicle, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Support transportation needs for routine runs and special outings.
