What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospice Aide position at Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay?
Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay is currently hiring a Full Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Hospice!
Current schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm with occasional weekend responsibilities (on call rotation approximately one (1) weekend every other month).
What will I do?
The CNA for Hospice provides assistance with personal care, exercises, ambulation, positioning and transfers to patients under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse or therapist according to the established plan of care.
Our CNA's provide a holistic approach and provide care for our resident's physical AND emotional wellbeing to provide holistic care to carry out our mission to create community to foster joy and well-being.
What do I need for this role?
- Certified Nurse's Aide License, issued by VA Board of Nursing.
- Must have a current CPR certification, or be willing to obtain within 60 days of hire.
- Valid/unrestricted driver's license.
- Willing to drive to private homes in greater Virginia Beach area to perform the requirements associated with this position.
- Able to work effectively under limited supervision.
