Key Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, utensils, and pots, and operate dishwashing equipment.
- Empty trash containers and sweep/mop kitchen and staff areas.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, production equipment, and pot sinks.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary work station and adhere to safety regulations.
- Participate in in-service training and education as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support kitchen operations.
What You Will Need to Be Successful:
- Prior kitchen sanitation experience is helpful.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
- Flexibility, patience, and teamwork mindset.
- Ability to understand and follow cleaning product instructions.
- Strong work ethic and ability to maintain a clean uniform.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.
- Must be able to handle exposure to cleaning chemicals with proper precautions.
- Manual dexterity to operate kitchen equipment and cleaning tools.
