Requirements
Essential Job Duties:
- Greet and assist all visitors to the human resources department and provide exceptional front desk customer service, including telephone communication
- Organize and maintain all related front desk materials to ensure other department professionals can locate such items as needed to ensure a high level of customer service is provided at all times
- Responsible for the coordination and processing of all pre-employments in a timely manner, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed
- Ensure all recordkeeping follows established protocol and procedures and that all information is maintained in a confidential, secure and organized manner
- Coordinate the sign-on bonus program, including the bonus agreements and tracking of payments
- Provide administrative support to manager and division vice president, including coordination, pickup and delivery of department mail and other support as requested
- Present and communicate at all times in a professional and effective manner, modeling desired behaviors expected by employees of the organization
- Serve as backup to the Human Resources Associate and be familiar with related responsibilities and procedures
- Provide backup for new employee information data entry into the HRIS or other required systems
- Additional duties as assigned
- Work is primarily sedentary
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance, 26 with manual or mechanical assistance
- Strong customer service skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook
- Ability to organize and maintain operations while making recommendations for process and quality improvement
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- Two years directly related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience to fulfill duties and responsibilities of the position
- Knowledge of human resources practices, employment laws and regulations
