• Current CNA license in the State of Virginia (unencumbered).
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire).
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• A heart for hospice care and a commitment to our patients' dignity and comfort.Additional Qualifications :
• Certification from the Virginia Board of Nursing or enrollment in a nursing program with completed clinical experience.
• Willingness to complete a food sanitation course after hire.Your RoleAs a Hospice Aide, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to patients during their end-of-life journey. Responsibilities include :
• Assisting patients with daily activities, mobility, and personal care.
• Monitoring and recording vital signs as part of the care plan.
• Offering emotional support and companionship to patients and families.
• Ensuring a clean and safe environment in compliance with infection control protocols.
• Assisting with meal preparation and serving, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
