What You'll Do as the Director of Resident Life and Services at Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay :
- Leadership : Oversee Resident Services, IL Programs, Fitness & Aquatics, Pastoral Care, wellness, and volunteer services, including coaching, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Wellness Programs : Lead campus-wide wellness initiatives that enhance resident quality of life through innovative and engaging programs.
- Special Events : Plan and manage special events that highlight Westminster-Canterbury as a Christian ministry.
- Admissions & Transitions : Supervise IL and ES admissions, ensuring a smooth and timely process for new residents. Oversee transitions through the continuum of care.
- Resident Communication : Innovate communication strategies to improve engagement and strengthen resident connections through technology and other resources.
- Resident Committees : Act as the primary liaison with resident committees focused on quality-of-life issues.
- Budget Management : Monitor and report on budget performance, ensuring financial alignment with departmental goals.
- Policy Development : Contribute to policy and procedure development in line with organizational objectives.
- Quality Improvement : Lead the team in resolving resident concerns and improving the overall quality of services.
- Team Coordination : Lead departmental meetings, manage personnel actions, and ensure effective collaboration to meet goals.
- Reporting : Prepare reports on progress, trends, and interventions for leadership review.
- Special Projects : Support campus-wide initiatives focusing on growth and sustainability.
- Resident Needs Assessment : Continuously assess resident needs and ensure that programs and services are responsive.
- Mission Contribution : Contribute to the fulfillment of Westminster-Canterbury's mission, enhancing the resident experience in a meaningful way.
