The Maintenance Mechanic performs the duties necessary to maintain the facility for residents and staff in a safe operating condition and carries out general and skilled maintenance as required while providing a high level of quality and service.
Shift(s):
Full Time: Day Shift with Saturday and Sunday included in normal schedule. No on call, 8-hour or 10-hour schedules available.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Receive work direction electronically or verbally
- Prioritize work according to urgency, schedule or efficiency
- Complete work orders as assigned to meet facility needs, and in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist other mechanics as needed
- Contribute to special projects as assigned
- Maintain work carts in orderly manner and maintains basic stock of frequently needed supplies
- Cover On-call duties on a rotational basis
- Additional duties as assigned
