Provide skilled and semi-skilled repairs and preventive maintenance services to campus facilities.
Requirements
Essential Functions:
- Performing a variety of tasks relating to electrical work – troubleshooting, re-lamping, repairing or replacing fixtures, switches, outlets, ballasts, and covers.
- Performing a variety of tasks relating to carpentry work – installing shelves, bulletin boards, dispensers, pictures; repairing/replacing/installing building components such as walls, doors, ceilings, floors, hardware, partitions, shelving, bulletin boards, dispensers, minor exterior building repairs.
- Performing a variety of tasks relating to plumbing work – maintaining and repairing sinks, toilets, faucets, dispensers, fountains and pipes; clear obstructions from water, sewer lines, drains and sump pumps.
- May perform a variety of tasks relating to Plant Operations work as needed; must maintain a valid Missouri driver’s license.
Job Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Five years experience responsible for general facilities maintenance.
Skills: Skilled in the application of maintenance, renovation, and repairs following recognized principles and practices of the trades associated with electrical, carpentry, and plumbing. Skilled in safe operation of equipment and tools.
