Westminster Communities of Florida, a nationally recognized not-for-profit faith based organization, is searching for a highly qualified Director of Therapy Services. Assists the VP, Clinical and Ancillary Services with supporting the goals of the Clinical/Rehab department. Responsible for the overall operations of the Rehabilitation Programs throughout the organization. Oversees the MDS/Clinical Reimbursement and Clinical Health Information Management program for the organization.

- Assists the VP, Clinical and Ancillary Services with providing leadership, guidance and support of all clinical functions of the organization to ensure departmental goals are successfully achieved.
- Manages and directs Therapy Program Managers in the provision of program services to residents.
- Assures rehabilitation programs meet clinical, budgetary, utilization and quality standards.
- Acts as Interim Program Manager in the Therapy department in the event of staff shortage.
- Directly supervises the Regional MDS/ HIM Director which involves direct responsibilities for interviewing, selection, training, motivating, wage and salary administration, performance appraisal, managing policies and procedures to ensure achievement of MDS/ HIM goals.
- Assist in therapy management duties by carrying out delegated selected duties under the supervision of the V.P. of Clinical and Ancillary Services.
- Carries out program management duties on a regular basis, acting within the reasonable scope of practice for a Director of Rehab Services.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree, in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech/Language Pathology or other clinical professional services preferred.
- Current licensure by the Board of Allied Professions required.
- Current membership in professional organizations at the state and national level preferred.
- Five (5) years of clinical experience required.
- Five (5) years of supervisory experience with multi-disciplines preferred.
- Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
