Essential Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Associates Degree from an AOTA accredited program.
Licensed or eligible for licensure in states that regulate the Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
Utilizes effective time management skills.
Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and to interact effectively with all levels
of staff and residents

Essential Job Functions

- Monitor resident’s progress and communicate with the Occupational Therapist (OT).
- Responsible for carrying out established resident’s Care Plan and goals as designated by the OT.
- Assist the OT during resident evaluations.
- Maintain documentation in system of resident’s activities, record progress and document billing
- Perform Resident’s Home Assessment as part of the discharge process as directed by the OT.
- Perform Resident’s screening during the admission process and quarterly & annual screening to
