Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Call Center Representative to join our optometrist practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients, scheduling appointments, handling inquiries, and assisting with administrative tasks to ensure our practice runs smoothly.
Provides outstanding customer service and timely resolutions of patient inquiries. Schedules and confirms patient appointments. Responds to patient customer inquiry requests and resolves issues efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service:
· Answer incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy.
· Provide information about our services and products to patients.
· Address patient inquiries and resolve concerns in a timely manner.
2. Appointment Scheduling:
· Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using our practice management software.
· Schedules and confirms patient appointments in person, on the phone, or by text.
· Captures Patient demographics including Email addresses.
· Must be able to verify insurances and comfortably collect payments.
· Be able to schedule patients off our recall and wait lists.
3. Patient Records:
· Update and maintain accurate patient records and information.
· Collect necessary information for patient registration and insurance verification.
4. Administrative Support:
· Assist in processing patient payments and billing inquiries.
· Work collaboratively with the optometrist and other staff to ensure efficient office operations.
· Perform other administrative duties as required.
5. Product Knowledge:
· Stay informed about our eyewear products, insurance plans, and vision care services to assist patients effectively.
· Promote special offers and inform patients about new services or products.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual
· High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare or customer service is a plus.
· Previous experience in a call center, customer service, or medical office preferred.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in using computer systems and software.
· Familiarity with healthcare terminology and insurance processes is a plus.
