Essential Functions:
- Wash all dinnerware, pots, and kitchen items using the dish machine and three-pot sink.
- Clean designated areas in the kitchen and dining rooms.
- Properly dispose of all garbage from the dining room.
- Comply with all sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements.
- Follow procedures for sanitation, food preparation, and safe food handling in assigned areas.
- Adhere to safety procedures for lifting, bending, and other tasks to prevent injury.
- Demonstrate knowledge of fire safety procedures and assist in evacuating residents in case of an emergency.
- Collaborate with staff from other departments to perform job duties.
- Adapt to changes in responsibilities, be receptive to new methods, and flexible in completing assignments.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Ability to read simple words and recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers.
- Ability to print and speak in simple sentences.
- Ability to understand and follow simple one- or two-step instructions.
- Capable of dealing with standardized situations with occasional variables.
