The Westminster Place Team is seeking a dynamic Housekeeper who will be responsible for the routine cleaning of resident apartments, rooms, offices, public areas, and other ancillary spaces. Essential Functions:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas according to established schedules and methods.
- Dust horizontal surfaces and empty waste baskets, removing trash as needed.
- Clean and polish metal and porcelain fixtures in bathrooms.
- Dry and wet mop non-carpeted floors, spot clean walls, and polish metal surfaces.
- Replenish room supplies and make beds, including performing checkout cleaning as assigned.
- Vacuum carpets and assist with cleaning emergency spills as observed or requested.
- Maintain assigned equipment, ensuring cleanliness and arranging for repairs when necessary.
- Report the need for repairs to equipment, furniture, buildings, and fixtures.
- Respond to fire or internal disaster situations as assigned.
- Report any unusual or dangerous incidents or conditions that are observed.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and other staff members.
- Capable of following directions and working independently.
- Must be reliable and able to maintain a consistent schedule.
- Physical ability to perform tasks involving bending, pushing carts, lifting, stooping, stretching, walking, and working overhead.
