Position Summary: The Residential Program Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential programs, ensuring a supportive and effective environment for residents. This role will focus on staff supervision, program implementation, and outcomes reporting. The position requires clinical credentials (LG-level or CACs) and strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Implementation and Oversight:
- Manage the daily operations of residential programs, including scheduling and staff coordination.
- Oversee the development and implementation of clinical and program policy to meet residential program needs.
- Conduct intake and assessment processes for client referrals for behavioral health services.
- Monitor and report on key indicators and outcomes for residential programming.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and ethical guidelines.
Staff Supervision and Development:
- Supervise residential program staff and provide guidance on resident care and program operations.
- Conduct and oversee professional development and training for program staff to increase knowledge and adherence to evidence-based practices.
- Address escalated concerns or incidents involving residents or staff.
- Oversee hiring, performance evaluations, and staff development in collaboration with leadership.
Client Support and Documentation:
- Coordinate with clinical leadership to ensure alignment with overall program goals.
- Ensure quality documentation of services and maintain accurate client records.
- Provide crisis support to clients and staff as needed.
- Maintain regular communication with Recovery Team and other clinical staff regarding client care and program outcomes.
- Maintains a patient case load
· Position requires on-call coverage
Community and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with external partners to enhance program offerings and outcomes.
- Represent the residential programs positively in internal and external meetings.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a clinical field (e.g., Social Work, Counseling) or equivalent.
- Licensed as an LGPC, LMSW, or CAC (or higher-level credential).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential or similar programs.
- Familiarity with CARF behavioral health standards and program compliance.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to the mission and values of the organization.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform tasks involving standing, sitting, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
