Westminster Schools of Augusta is a Pre-K through 12 regionally-accredited, coeducational,college-preparatory, Christian day school enrolling over 500 students. The34-acre campus is located in a residential section of Augusta, which is Georgia's second largest metropolitan area. The school is affiliated with First Presbyterian Church of Augusta (PCA), but the student body and faculty include members from more than 90 different local churches of various denominations.

Westminster Schools of Augusta seeks an experienced, talented and energetic Lower School Teacher Assistant. Candidate should have experience working with young children in a school environment.
Responsibilities
Ability and eagerness to provide support to classroom
Help and support the classroom teacher
Ability to connect and communicate with lower school students
Provide supervision of students during class time, recess and lunch
Physical Requirements, Work Environment and Abilities Needed
The ability to engage and interact comfortably with students on the floor, at the tables, and on the playground.
The ability to direct children in a pleasant and clear manner so they understand and readily comply
The ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds
Generally work in climate controlled environment, but will be required to supervise students outside during the school year
Minimum Requirements
Experience working with young children
Preferred Requirements
Early Childhood Degree or Certificate
