Job Description
This full-time position operates primarily in an academic environment and can be remote. We are seeking a skilled Graphic Designer to join our Online Learning Marketing department and support the development of our brand identity through the creation of high-quality visual content.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a consistent visual brand strategy across all marketing channels, ensuring alignment with our organization's mission and values
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create engaging and effective visual content for various platforms, including digital ads, web banners, brochures, mailers, flyers, email templates, social media content, animated GIFs, video illustrations/animations, and other relevant materials
- Design and develop visual elements, including logos, icons, typography, and color schemes, to enhance our brand's overall aesthetic
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design, incorporating new ideas and techniques into our visual content
- Evaluate and refine our visual brand strategy based on performance data and customer feedback
Requirements
- Professional graphic design experience required. Prior experience in generating design materials for digital marketing purposes preferred
- Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (required: Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects)
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines
- Comfort developing print and digital collateral for use across a variety of channels
- A natural design style that lends itself to our brand guidelines, and limited need for coaching to maintain and expand this look across various mediums
- A proactive nature and creative mindset
- Familiarity with the audiences of and content produced for Christian organizations such as Bible Project, Ligonier, Desiring God, and The Gospel Coalition a plus
