Description
The Graphic Designer supports Westminster Theological Seminary by producing creative collateral for projects managed by the Online Learning Marketing department. This person will have the exciting opportunity to help develop the Westminster Online Learning brand under the guidance of the Associate Director of Marketing & Communications through creating various digital and print assets that shape public perception of the brand.
Duties and responsibilities
Design creative collateral to meet deadlines. Projects will include digital ads, web banners, brochures, mailers, flyers, email templates, social media content, animated GIFs, video illustrations / animations, and other relevant collateralCollaborate with teammates on ideation, editing, and execution as neededCreate storyboards, mockups, and illustration files with design notes for animation projects; partner with our videographer to develop visually compelling video projectsMaintain knowledge of design programs and trends to ensure quality standards are met and that Westminster's brand is represented in a way that is relevant and effectiveMonitor competitor ads and digital collateral to evaluate strategic design opportunities for Westminster's marketing initiativesEnsure that all creative collateral adheres to Westminster's brand guideMaintain organized file system on DropBox or Google Drive to promote easy team-wide access of assetsThis job operates primarily in an academic environment.
This job can be remote.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. 40 hours per week is expected.

Qualifications
Professional graphic design experience required. Prior experience in generating design materials for digital marketing purposes preferred.Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (required : Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects)The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and consistently meet deadlinesComfort developing print and digital collateral for use across a variety of channelsA natural design style that lends itself to Westminster Online Learning's brand guidelines, and limited need for coaching to maintain and expand this look across various mediumsA proactive nature and creative mindsetFamiliarity with the audiences of and content produced for Christian organizations such as Bible Project, Ligonier, Desiring God, and The Gospel Coalition a plusApplicant must provide their portfolio and / or examples of prior work with their resume and job application.
