Responsibilities
- Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols.
- Maintain thorough medical documentation and records for each resident.
- Provide care and support to residents with disabilities, dementia, and other health challenges.
- Assist with tube feeding and other specialized care as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor residents for any changes in condition or medication side effects, reporting findings promptly.
- Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety in medication administration and daily activities.
- Engage with residents to promote a positive living environment, fostering dignity and respect.
Experience
- Previous experience in memory care or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Familiarity with Cerner or similar medical documentation systems is a plus.
- Strong background in medication administration and medical records management.
- Experience in dementia care or assisted living settings is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.50 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 36 per week
