Mixes and serves non-alcoholic beverages to patrons/members and provides responsible, friendly service to restaurant and bar customers and members
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow all polices for the responsible service of alcohol.
- Deliver drinks to guests such as beer, wine and mixed drinks. Deliver appetizers and meals to members.
- Organizes and stocks bar. Ensures that adequate supply levels are maintained
- Replenishes additional supplies as necessary.
- Takes orders from members or servers.
- Follows set-up procedures.
- Prepares garnishes as required
- Replenishes bar snacks (i.e. chips, pretzels and nuts) as required.
- Greet members
- Mixes, prepares and serves drinks according to the recipes approved by the F & B manager and as requested by the member or guest.
- Collects checks/payment for drinks and food served. At the Westmoor this means confirming who the member is and closing the tab to them. Our accounting department bills at a later date so this is an extremely important step to ensure no billing mistakes on our end.
- Reports complaints to a manager as soon as they occur.
- Maintains and cleans the bar, equipment, bottles, shelves, rail, fruit trays, coolers on a daily bases.
- Maintains records of liquors, beers, wine and sundries to ensure par stock is maintained at all times.
- Maintains daily inventory and records showing which drinks and liquors are in the greatest demand.
- Cleans and lock-ups bar according to prescribed procedures.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- One year certificate from college or technical school; three to 6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively in English to customers, members, or employees of organization.
