Commercial roofing laborer

Westmoreland Commercial Roofing is seeking a hardworking and dependable Roofing Laborer to join our team. Our company specializes in flat and low-slope roofing systems, including roof coatings and single-ply membranes. As a Roofing Laborer, you will assist with the installation and maintenance of high-quality roofing solutions that deliver peace of mind to our clients.

We are looking for an individual to join our team of roof laborers. This is a basic laborer position, and we are seeking someone who is hardworking, honest, and a team player. Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of roof coatings and single-ply membranes on flat or low-slope roofs.
• Prepare roof surfaces by cleaning, removing debris, and ensuring they are ready for application.
• Use a backpack blower to clean roof surfaces.
• Remove old roofing materials.
• Operate power hand tools (saws, drills, impact drills, etc.) to install new roof substrates and materials.
• Roll out and apply roofing materials.
• Power wash roofs and spray coatings as needed.
• Drive to and from job sites, including hauling trailers.
• Assist in setting up and cleaning up job sites.
• Ensure work is completed to the company’s quality standards and within safety guidelines.
• Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Support team members and supervisors as needed to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Home every evening 90% of the time.

Qualifications

• One year of basic construction experience required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the warehouse in Latrobe, PA.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Basic understanding of roofing materials, tools, and equipment (training will be provided if needed).
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
• Tobacco and drug-free work environment.
• Clean-cut appearance to align with company culture.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
