- Handling workplace disputes, mediating conflicts and maintaining positive employee relationships & culture. Serve as a point of contact for all sensitive employee matters.
- Managing of the recruitment process, interviewing candidates as needed and assisting with new hires once in positions.
- Assisting with benefit management for all staff members and act as a point of contact for benefit education.
- Assisting the HR Director with unemployment compensation forms and appeals and hearing preparation.
- Interpreting and explaining the HR process & procedure ensuring equal understanding and providing guidance to supervisors to reflect.
- Maintaining all compliance regulations and documentation ranging from EEOC, FMLA, Benefits and DOL in addition to Federal and State laws.
- Staying consistent and up to date on trends, best practices and regulatory changes within human resources.
- Conducting/Overseeing orientation & onboarding as needed for incoming staff.
- Providing onsite technical support of the HRIS system for staff as needed in addition to implementation of new system initiatives.
- Assisting in learning & development for agency staff as needed.
- Overseeing all aspects of volunteer engagement, develop strategies to attract volunteers, maintain volunteer data, create and manage annual goals for volunteer projects.
- Oversee payroll ensuring all laws are being practiced and followed.
Qualifications
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
- A minimum of 2-4 years of prior HR experience preferred
- Strong Communications and interpersonal skills, decision-making abilities, proficiency in HR information systems/software and general computer skills, detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
- Acts 33, 34, 114, and sex offender registry clearances.
- Valid PA driver’s license, minimum state-mandated auto insurance coverage, and reasonably clean driving record.

Salary : $20 - $20
