- Providing 24/7 mobile services to distressed Westmoreland County residents,
- Providing crisis intervention services including psycho-educational coaching, resource information, and referrals and after care to individuals exhibiting acute behavioral problems, disturbed thoughts, mood and/or social conflicts, and
- Working cooperatively with Westmoreland County Behavioral Health and Development services and other county providers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or its equivalent.
- Valid driver's license required and must carry $15,000/$30,000 bodily liability car insurance.
- Ability to assist crisis workers in crisis situations.
- Ability and willingness to work various shifts.
- Must be able to obtain child abuse, state police, fingerprint-based criminal background check, and sex offender registry clearances.
- Provide a certificate of or be able to complete Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse training.
- Direct experience in crisis intervention is preferred.
- Proficiency with computer software preferred.
- 12 hours of paid time off each year,
