Certified Nurse Aide - Westmoreland Manor - $4,000 Sign-On Bonus for Eligible Applicants!!!Westmoreland Manor is seeking motivated, energetic individuals to join our team as Certified Nurse Aides with a $4,000.00 sign-on bonus! As a CNA with us, you will be part of a large, dedicated staff devoted to caring for residents in a County-owned facility. We are seeking applicants able to succeed in a fast-paced environment and multi-task!This purpose of this position is to provide basic nursing care for ADL's including bathing, dressing, feeding and transporting residents under the supervision of the Charge Nurse. Job duties include but are not exclusive or all-inclusive :
- Positions residents, assists residents with range of motion.
- Feeds residents as required.
- Checks incontinent residents; changes soiled briefs and underpads and any soiled linen; washes clients and checks skin integrity.
- Maintains nursing unit area cleanliness and neatness.
- Sorts and distributes residents clothing.
- Fills water pitchers.
- Takes resident vital signs as directed and reports observed changes to Charge Nurse.Qualified Applicants must possess :
- High school graduate or equivalency
- Physical ability to do heavy lifting.
- Nurse Aides shall have a CHRI check done prior to hire.
- Must possess and maintain a current valid PA Nurse Aide certificate in good standing

Shifts are available according to bids and facility needs.Sign-On Bonus criteria includes, but is not limited to : Bonus program only offered for candidates applying for full-time and hired on or after February 12th, 2024. Bonus to be disbursed in four payments over the course of a 1-year period (after 45 calendar days, 6 months, 9 months, and 1 year mark from first date of employment). Installment amounts detailed in guidelines. Employee's continued eligibility dependent on attendance and punctuality, as defined in guidelines. Those offered a position within the last month prior to the launch of the sign-on bonus program are not eligible. Casual, temp, self-schedule, or part-time nurses or nurse aides are not eligible. Former employees only eligible if this is the second incidence of rehire and have not left in the three months prior to start of program.
