Hospital Stores Clerk
Westmoreland Manor is seeking a Hospital Stores Clerk in our Dietary department!
The successful candidate will be responsible for the task of loading and unloading pallets of products/supplies from vendors at various entrances, including loading docks; and, organizing and maintaining the stockroom, supplies, and other inventory is also required.
The Stores Clerk will also update and maintain our inventory tracking systems, and receive and deliver supplies to various departments, offices, and nursing units. Work requires constant or frequent standing, pushing, pulling, loading/unloading, grasping, and lifting.
This position is variable shift, but mainly 5:15AM – 1:15PM, variable days, rotating weekends; hours are subject to change depending on facility needs. The pay rate for this position is $18.80 per hour.
Job Duties Also Include, But Are Not Limited To
Qualified applicants must also possess a high school diploma or equivalent with one to two years food service, storeroom, or similar experience; or combination of education and experience, and complete the facility’s pre-employment screening process.

The Stores Clerk will also update and maintain our inventory tracking systems, and receive and deliver supplies to various departments, offices, and nursing units. Work requires constant or frequent standing, pushing, pulling, loading/unloading, grasping, and lifting.

Job Duties Also Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Placing reorders when necessary to maintain adequate supply levels
- Receiving goods at the dock and transferring to storage rooms
- Performing stock inventory and tracking items on backorder, or those not shipped
- Reviewing, verifying, and maintaining purchase orders and internal (departmental) orders
