Custodian (Part-Time)

Westmoreland Intermediate Unit is seeking qualified applicants for a part-time Custodian position (office/school setting, evening shift).

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 6:00PM - 10PM. Daily shifts are not to exceed 4 hours per day. This position will primarily service WIU's Administration Building and the Clairview School in Greensburg. The pay rate is $16.50/hour and this position includes paid time off days.

The Custodian’s primary responsibility is to promote and maintain the cleanliness of the building and grounds, and provide set up and take down of tables, chairs, etc. for a variety of events. The custodian will use prescribed methods and materials in cleaning and otherwise caring for building and equipment. The custodian will respond to building staff needs to maintain the functioning of the building and its programs, and resolves problems to ensure clean, orderly, efficient and safe operations.

Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Minimum Experience: Previous custodial experience is preferred.
