What are the responsibilities and job description for the English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher position at Westmoreland Intermediate Unit?
The Westmoreland Intermediate Unit is seeking qualified applicants for a Full-Time ESL (English-as-a-Second Language) Teacher for various sites across Westmoreland County. The ESL Teacher is responsible for planning, organizing and implementing a language instruction educational program for English Language Learners to develop their English language skills and thrive alongside their native English-speaking peers. The ESL Teacher focuses instruction on Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening as outlined in the PA Core Standards and English Language Proficiency Standards.
Minimum Experience: BA/BS, PA Instructional I Certificate, and K-12 ESL Program Specialist
Minimum Education: 0-3 years experience required
