What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Service Worker position at Westmoreland Manor?
Westmoreland Manor is seeking full-time Food Service Workers, one for the “AM Variable Float every third weekend off”, and one for the "PM" shift in our dietary services department at the rate of $17.00 per hour. We are looking for energetic, quick-learners who are able to work in a fast-paced kitchen and cafeteria environments! This position requires rotating weekends and holidays!
The purpose of this position is to maintain the sanitary condition of the kitchen and the equipment therein.
Job duties include but are not exclusive or all-inclusive:
- Working meal tray assembly line
- Loading and transporting food to resident floors
- Cleaning assigned areas including dishes, tables, kitchen equipment, etc.
- Maintaining sanitary condition of the kitchen and equipment
Applicants must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Experience in food service and/or long-term care facility preferred. ServSafe certification a plus. Must possess the ability to push/pull equipment, transport carts, climb ladders, and ride elevators as required.
30-Working Day Probationary Period applies for benefits.
