Westmoreland Mechanical Testing & Research is looking to fill our Administrative Clerk role. In this position you will assist in the creation of customer certifications and organizing each job packet to ensure the traceability of each order. You may also help in the hands-on portion of sample preparation. This is a great opportunity for motivated individuals who want a chance to work in a fast-paced environment and learn some new skills, all within the Latrobe/Youngstown, PA area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supports multiple administrative areas in a variety of tasks.
- Drafts/Reviews correspondence and other formal documents
- Updates data spreadsheets that correlate with workflow of the lab
- Implements organized filing systems
- Reviews documents for accuracy
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned
- Shipping and receiving duties
Qualifications and Skills:
- US Citizenship required
- High school or equivalent required
- Previous experience in office administration or other related fields is preferred
- Ability to adapt to changing work environments
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) as well as other organizational/planning tools
- Strong time-management skills
- Ability to stand, sit, or move around for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to perform repetitive hand motions
