We are seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Assistant Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Sales Manager in overseeing
day-to-day operations of the retail store, driving sales, and providing exceptional customer service. The Retail Assistant Sales Manager will also play a key role in coaching and mentoring sales staff to achieve their individual and team targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Performance:
- Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to meet and exceed store sales targets.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular feedback to the Sales Manager and team members.
- Analyze sales reports and trends to identify areas for improvement.
- Customer Service
- Ensure that all customers receive a high level of service and support.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional manner.
- Promote a customer-focused environment among the sales team.
- Team Leadership
- Store Operations
- Support the Sales Manager in recruiting, training, and onboarding new sales associates.
- Provide ongoing coaching and development for sales team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Motivate and inspire the team to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Assist in managing daily store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and maintaining store standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
- Participate in the execution of promotional events and campaigns.
- Assist the Sales Manager in preparing sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
- Administrative duties including scheduling, payroll, and managing employee records.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, retail management, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous retail or sales management experience (2-3 years preferred).
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail management software.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.

Working Conditions:
- This position requires standing for extended periods and might involve lifting and carrying equipment or merchandise.
- Fast-paced retail environment with varying workload and customer traffic levels.
- We are opened Monday through Saturday.
