Weston Memory Care is currently accepting applications for our life enrichment team and wants to hire you as our exceptional Life Enrichment Director to assist our staff and residents in enriching their lives. Weston Memory Care is tentatively opening late 2024. This unique position will provide you and our residents with life-changing connections built on memories that last while touching the hearts of staff, residents, families and visitors alike for years to come.
Life Enrichment Director is an hourly position on our management team. We're looking for a well-organized leader, a relationship builder and a creative person to continue advancing our life enrichment department.
Primary responsibilities of the Life Enrichment Director include:
- Planning and implementing the activity program designed to meet the needs of our Memory Care residents.
- Ensure activities, charting and documentation are done and that they follow regulations.
- Coordinate programming with all other departments and the community at large.
General duties of the Life Enrichment Director include but are not limited to:
- Assists in planning and leading activity programs.
- Focuses on activities that integrate residents' unique memory care needs, flexible understanding of their caregiving desires/wishes, their life stories, and the involvement of their families/loved ones.
- Attends Department Head meetings, ISP Care Conference’s as well as meetings delegated by the Administrator.
- Development of programs individually and specifically designed for Memory Care.
- Attends all mandatory in-services.
- Updates website/Facebook/Newsletter.
- Creates and sends out Newsletter.
- Coordinates performers and creates and distributes monthly activity calendar.
- Activity documentation.
- Assists in completing ISP’s.
- Decorates the facility for holidays and special events.
- Assists in the creation of flyers, marketing, and community relations.
- Coordinates large events (i.e. Music Events, Bazaars, fundraising events for Alzheimer's, etc.).
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- Must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma.
- Experience in a CBRF, Nursing Home or Long Term Care setting is required.
- Must be in good mental, physical and emotional condition, and be willing to cooperate with other employees.
Life Enrichment Director is a hourly management position. Supervisory leadership skills along with participation in on-call for department is required. We offer competitive salary and benefits including PTO, health, dental, vision, and SIMPLE. A background check is required.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
