General Summary
The Therapist will be responsible for conducting effective and professional direct therapy for individuals, couples, and families affected by mental illness and/or substance use disorders in an outpatient clinic setting. This position will report directly to the Director of Clinical Services.

Position Type: Full & Part Time options currently available at our Weston location.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapeutic services to individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders, including individual, couples, family therapy, and continued care groups, as needed.
- Conduct Screenings, Intakes, Assessments, Diagnosis, to individuals with mental illness and/or substance use issues.
- Develop and implement treatment plans with clients, addressing identified needs and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure appropriate levels of care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, treatment plans, and client progress, adhering to clinic policies and best practices.
- Collaborate as a member of a multidisciplinary clinical team.
- Participate in external events to educate the community and build relationships that support and address mental health needs.
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanor while interacting with individuals experiencing emotional distress or crises.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience & Skills
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Sociology or related area.
- Fully Licensed Mental Health Professional in Wisconsin (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.,)
- Experience working with clients with mental health or co-occurring diagnoses.
- Proficient in prevention, intervention, assessment, and treatment modalities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Skilled in conducting interviews and counseling with diverse patients.
- Competent in crisis intervention assessment and disposition.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, families, colleagues, and community health professionals.
- Possesses emotional maturity, sound judgment, and the ability to work well within a dynamic team.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with word processing and data entry software.
Physical Working Conditions
- Over 50% of the time is spent talking and hearing.
- 50% to 75% of the time is spent sitting and 10% of the time is spent walking or standing.
- There is occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds, and in unsual situations, there is stooping, kneeling, balance and reaching.
- Exposure to a typical clinical environment with potential for contact with clients in varying emotional states
