Weston & Sampson is seeking an entry-level Geologist/Hydrogeologist with 0-3 years of experience for our Water discipline in our Reading, MA or Portsmouth, NH offices.
:
What you’ll do:
- Hydrogeologic /geologic investigations
- Water quality sampling
- Streamflow gaging
- GIS map/graphics generation
- Soil sampling and logging during well installation
- Pumping test supervision
- Wetland delineation
- Permit and report writing
What you will bring:
- BS in Geology with an emphasis in Hydrogeology
- A positive attitude and able to communicate effectively with others
- Practical knowledge of GIS, data entry and management using Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Some travel will be required to conduct field work
- Valid driver’s license is required.
