What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Specialist/Client Manager- Site Civil/Renewable Energy position at Weston & Sampson?
Weston & Sampson is seeking a motivated and driven Senior Manager with 8-15 years of experience to perform highly skilled engineering and design work and client manager responsibilities in our Massachusetts or New Hampshire office to support renewable energy projects throughout the Country.
Our growing Energy Practice seeks thoughtful and innovative individuals who truly want to make a difference enhancing, protecting, and sustaining the natural and built environment to improve the quality of life. This position will support the permitting, design, and construction phases of renewable energy development projects.
What you'll do :
- Manage the site civil, land development, stormwater, utility designs, and specifications to support solar or other renewable energy development projects including construction observation or administration;
- Prepare and submit permit applications in support of the project development, representing our municipal and private clients;
- Conduct presentations at public hearings to support the permit applications for land use projects;
- Work in a multidisciplinary team, manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinate multiple disciplines, and collaborate with multiple staff members in a team environment; and
- Manage project financial performance and prepare proposals for new projects.
