What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wastewater Project Engineer position at Weston & Sampson?
Weston & Sampson is seeking a Project Engineer with 5-10 years of experience. This position will perform both field and office work in multiple disciplines such as water, wastewater, site design and drainage.
What you’ll do:
- Effective client management
- Preparation of plans, specifications, and permit applications for Municipal infrastructure including water, wastewater, and stormwater related projects
- Water, wastewater, storm water design including hydrology and hydraulic studies, reports, site plans, grading and utility plans and profiles, and erosion control plans
- Attendance at regulatory land use meetings may also be required
- Responsibilities will expand as experience is gained
What you will bring:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required
- PE certification preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Familiarity with I/I and SSES studies, and municipal infrastructure
- Strong AutoCAD skills preferred
- Willingness complete multiple tasks concurrently
- Some local travel may be required
- Must have a valid driver's license
