Major Responsibilities:

Shifts include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Eligible applicants must have a flexible schedule.

The position is responsible to ensure the airport is maintained compliant with Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (14CFR Part 139). Additional duties include towing and servicing aircraft.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Shifts include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Eligible applicants must have a flexible schedule.
  • Drives fuel trucks and ground support vehicles to service aircraft.
  • Marshalls and tows aircraft.
  • Assists all aircraft crews and passengers by courteously providing the services they may require, including cargo and baggage handling.
  • Conducts inspections of runways, taxiways, aprons and other aeronautical areas to ensure compliance with applicable 150 Series Advisory Circulars (ACs), federal and state regulations and the Airport Certification Manual.
  • Reports unsafe conditions and initiates corrective actions to mitigate hazards.
  • Conducts airfield fuel inspections per 14 CFR Part 139.321, NFPA 407 and local codes. Recommends corrective actions and enforces regulations. Ensures required fueling training is properly recorded and maintained.
  • Monitors construction personnel and activities on and near the Airport Operation Area to ensure a safe operating environment. Ensures compliance with AC 150/5370-2, Operational Safety on Airports During Construction.
  • Prepares and maintains inspection reports and operations logs utilizing computer and/or written formats.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the areas in and about the company's facilities including hangar floors, shops, maintenance areas, employee locker rooms, lavatories, and performs trash removal as required.
  • Assists with snow removal as required.
  • Completes necessary receipts, fuel tickets, credit card, in-house accounts and records.
  • Performs passenger services for charter flight.
  • De-ice aircraft in accordance to specified standards.
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Unique Expertise:

  • Must Pass airfield driving test and obtain Airfield License
  • Ability to communicate clearly on a two-way radio.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires strenuous lifting and pulling fuel hoses (75-80 lbs.), climbing and standing on step ladders while connecting fueling hoses overhead and bending and stooping to manipulate hoses and connect aircraft tow bars. Shifts include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Eligible applicants must have a flexible schedule.

Legal Requirements:

All candidates/employees hold and maintain a valid Driver’s Licenses, pass a 10-year criminal background check including finger prints and monthly TSA background vetting.

All candidates/employees must pass a pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening

Proprietary Requirements:

In this position you’re required to work in and around executive passengers, situations, offices where confidential information is discussed and stored. The employee in this classification is trusted to maintain absolute confidence about any documents observed or conversations overheard.

Compensation:

This is an hourly position offering overtime opportunities. Compensation will be based on experience.

Benefits:

Pension Plan with 7.5% annual gross salary contributed by the Corporation and divided between a Qualified Individual Money Purchase Plan (4.5%) and a Safe Harbor 401(K) (3.0%) Plan – eligible only after a full year of service and working 1,000 hours in a calendar year.

Group Health Insurance provided through “Health New England” (paid by Company 75% premium with employee paying 25% of premium)
